Kedarkantha (not to be confused with the popular Temple Kedarnath) is a 6-day long trek in Govind Pashu Vihar National Park in Uttarakhand (6 when including the travel days from Dehradun to the base camp and back). Kedarkantha is easily one of the most popular treks in India — popular amongst seasoned trekkers and beginners alike.
Day 1 – Arrive in Dehradun and Stay in hotel / Guest house
Day 2 - Dehradun to Sankri (210 km) (7/8 hours) (1920 m) (D) – Stay in Guest House At Sankri
Day 3 – Trek - Sankri to JudaKaTalab (4 km) (4/5 hours) (2700 m) – (All Meals) – Stay in twin /Triple Sharing Tents
Day 4 – Trek - Judakatalab to Kedarkantha base (2 Km) (3/4 hours) (3400 m) – (All Meals) – Stay in twin /Triple Sharing tents
Day 5 – Trek - Kedarkantha base to Kedarkantha Summit (4 km) (3800 m) and then to base Camp (4 km) – (All Meals) – Stay in Twin /Triple Sharing Tents
Day 6 – Base Camp to Sankri Village (8 km) = (5/6 hours) (1920 m) – (All Meals)
Day 7 - Sankri to Dehradun (210 km) (7/8 hours) & deop to Dehradun hotel, Station, Airport.
